In November 2023, at the C1DCCA premises in Abelemkpe, Accra, played host to a joyous and enchanting Children’s Book Fair. The event which was a resounding success, brought together book lovers for a memorable gathering. After the event, the CEO of Cyber1defense Communication Charity Africa (C1DCCA), Mr. Foster Dogbe said, “this event was organized to bring kids together and have a memorable day, it wasn’t only about coming to pick the book but to make sure that the kid picks a book that he/she will be able to read. That is why it was graded, from children to adults. This is something we will be doing yearly to help build the kids in our society.”

He also urged parent and guardian to continue to encourage children to read, explore new worlds through books, and embrace the power of storytelling. He also express his gratitude to the parents and guardians who accompanied their children to the fair. He added, “your support and encouragement play a vital role in fostering a love for reading in the next generation. Together, we can continue to create a nurturing environment where books are celebrated, cherished, and embraced as gateways to knowledge and imagination.”
