Cyber1Defense donates to Ghana Prison Service
On May 23, 2025, Cyber1Defense Communication Limited made a significant contribution to the Ghana Prison Service by donating essential technological equipment aimed at enhancing inmate rehabilitation and education. The donation ceremony took place at the Ghana Prison Service headquarters in Accra, where officials from both Cyber1Defense Communication Limited / Cyber1defense Communication Charity Africa and the Ghana Prison Service gathered to formalize this strategic collaboration. The donated items include computers, printers, smart boards, projectors, and projector screens—all intended to support educational and vocational training programs for the service.
Co-owner of cyber1defense communication limited, Foster Kwaku Dogbe said,” it is our hope that this equipment will help transform ICT education and training at the various prison camps such as Accra as the news of the amazing job being done on the inmates by the services.”
Cybersecurity Workshop for Prison Officers
In addition to the equipment, Cyber1Defense Communication Limited conducted a dedicated workshop on cybersecurity for officers of the Ghana Prison Service led by Mr. David Gyedu (Cybersecurity Analyst). The session focused on digital safety, teaching staff how to secure sensitive data, recognize cyber threats, and maintain secure communication channels.
This training is a vital step in enhancing the digital literacy of prison personnel, ensuring that both infrastructure and users are prepared for a secure digital transformation.
